1 jalapeno pepper (seeded and deviened if you want mild salsa)
1 onion
handful of cilantro (stemmed)
2-3 large tomatoes
2 T. tomato paste
1 T. fresh lime juice (or more, to taste)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Chop all ingredients. You can use a salsa maker or a food processor even a blender will work but salsa won't be very chunky. Taste and then re-season to taste. Add more peppers for hotter salsa. If you don't like the fresh salsa taste make with drained canned tomatoes.
