Broccoli Pesto

Adapted from: A Thought for Food

This was pretty darn good and easy. We had it on pasta one day and on BLTs the next. 

1 large broccoli (around 2 cups) (I added way more than this, like double)
A couple of stems fresh basil or sage
1/2 lemon, juice
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup olive oil (24 points)
2 tbsp water
salt & pepper
1/2 cup hazelnuts (roasted chickpeas) (optional)

Throw all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pulse for about a minute. Taste it. Add more olive oil or water if it feels too dry, and salt & pepper according to taste.

Total Points: 24 Points Plus
